Please be advised that Briggs Marine Contractors will be undertaking Drop Down Video (DDV) and sediment grab sampling on an area 6 – 11 km offshore to the North West of Islay as well as following a route from Islay to Hunterston, passing to the south of Islay, Kintyre and Arran.
The work will utilise the 19m coastal survey vessel Mersey Guardian for the operations.
Operations will commence from 2nd August, with the exact location of daily sampling being dependent on weather conditions. It is expected that operations will last for approximately 6 weeks, again, dependent on weather delays. Further information can be found here
